Our Environment
In Autumn 2009 Riverside opened its Early Years School in Bubenec. The building is well situated in a quiet area and can accommodate 60 children between the ages of 3 and 5 years.
The facility includes a Nursery Floor, Reception Floor, a Parent Lounge and Toddler Room, a Minigym & Dining Hall and an extensive Garden.
Within the Early Years Riverside provides a warm and caring educational environment in which each child is nurtured and encouraged to develop and extend their early learning skills.
The Nursery Class and Reception Class and the Early Years Outdoor Activity Area provide opportunities for creative play through individual and group learning experiences.
Each class has a full time Teacher and a Learning Support Assistant, who work alongside the children. The day is structured around individual and group learning activities. The children are encouraged to explore their world through a range of activities. Within this environment the beginnings of formal learning are introduced to each child, as they begin to develop their early learning skills.
