Sarita Myers is the Principal of the High School. She comes to Prague from Michigan with her husband, Steve, a teacher of Mathematics and Music, her daughter, Olivia, and her son, Owen. Sarita has achieved her Master’s degree in School Administration, and has taught all levels of students at Riverside Junior and Senior High School. This will be Sarita’s tenth year at Riverside.
Junior High provides an education that is inspiring and challenging for the individual through an engaging, dynamic and innovative curriculum. It motivates our students to reach great heights and explore new initiatives through a variety of projects. These enable students and teachers to participate in exciting pathways which are relevant to the developmental needs of this age group.
The Junior High Curriculum enables students to embrace and enjoy their studies, to make connections between areas of learning, develop higher order thinking and engage in a process of life-long learning. Further, we seek for our students to see relevance in their learning in order that their experience of education be life-worthy.
Junior High students have many opportunities to explore a range of activities through our Skills for Life and Outdoor Pursuits Programmes. They provide our students with specialist instruction and promote higher levels of challenge, enabling students to raise their self esteem and develop their skills in leadership and teamwork.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Daish, our beloved former Director whose visionary leadership shaped our school into the outstanding institution it is today. Though he retired in 2022, his commitment never wavered, and his legacy of service spans 25 years. Our hearts go out to his wife Jo, son George, and all who knew and loved him. Peter gave me one of my most memorable opportunities- to teach at Riverside. I will always remember him as committed, determined and loyal. To George and Jo I have no words. You are in my thoughts and prayers this morning as I remember all the different ways Peter impacted my life.
I am absolutely saddened by these news. He was an amazing man. He cared for his staff and students. He was so kind, caring, joyful and helpful. My thoughts are with Jo and George. He will be hugely missed and forever in our hearts🙂

We will always remember the kind, warm welcome of Mr Daish when we first visited Riverside, and every morning we arrived with our daughter at the school. So many happy memories of our stay in Prague are connected to Mr Daish. May he rest in peace. Our condolences to the family.

We’re all so incredibly sad to hear this news . It is impossible to imagine Riverside without Peter Daish - but his legacy will live on in the school and through the memories of all those whose lives he has touched. Our three children adored every moment of their time at Riverside, and I have now spent more than ten years as a teacher thanks to his willingness to take a chance on me. My condolences to his family! The picture you chose with the cabbage is I think one of my fondest memories of Mr Daish. I will always remember that face he made when my class chose to use a cabbage for our graduation speeches! ❤️ May he rest in peace with our Lord.
