Jiřina teaches Czech in the Junior and Senior High Schools. She is has completed her Masters in Czech language and literature in 2016 and is currently studying her doctorate at the University of Jana Evangelisty Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem – Theory of education in Bohemistics, specialization Czech for foreigners. Jiřina is actively involved in youth work and is a summer camp leader and instructor. She plays the flute and piano. Jiřina is in her fifth year at Riverside.
