The Riverside Model United Nations delegation recently returned from yet another stunningly successful conference – this time in Copenhagen. Riverside students represented Denmark, Indonesia and Cuba and actively participated in their respective committees, including the High Commission on Refugees and the Human Rights Council.
One of the largest delegations at the Bigmun Conference in Birkerod, Denmark, Riverside students spend five days discussing issues concerning the environment, politics, refugees and much more with High School students from all over Europe. They proposed resolutions, made motions for amendments and also had the chance to explore Copenhagen’s beautiful canals on a boat tour.
Riverside graduates have been accepted to some of the most prestigious universities around the world.
