Digital Systems Manager
Bekah grew up in a suburb of Chicago and graduated from Taylor University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Previously, she taught 5th grade for two years in Wheaton, Illinois and Milepost 1 (Years 1 and 2) for two years in Olomouc. She came to the Czech Republic originally to do English Camps for 6 summers but now lives here permanently with her Czech husband. She loves being Mom to Sofie, Aunt to 3 nieces and 2 nephews, and Ms. O’Brien to the lovely children of Riverside. She enjoys animals of all kinds, playing board games, and getting to know other people. After teaching Year 1 for 4 years at Riverside, she is now in a part time role as Digital Systems Manager while working towards her MA in Special and Additional Learning Needs through the University of East London and enjoying maternity leave. This is her seventh year at Riverside.
