Mathematics
I am originally from the Czech Republic although my background is very much international. After completing my IB Diploma at an international school in Prague, I studied Philosophy and Mathematics at Edinburgh and Oxford Universities. I started to enjoy teaching and saw it as a way to do meaningful work whilst being able to travel. I worked for 4 years in Brazil and saw a lot of South America, whilst being head of maths and IGCSE coordinator, transforming a school that was rapidly developing into being one of the best in Sao Paulo. I am excited to teach mathematics conceptually, with a focus on deep understanding rather than rote learning and want to see all my students thrive both in the subject and as individuals.
