Riverside’s famous ‘13th Annual Burns Supper’ will take place on Saturday 23rd January, 2016 at 6pm at the same wonderful venue as last year – Na Marjánce in Břevnov. Early Years trip to Mělník
Our gracious hosts welcomed us with cocoa and carrot cake when we arrived at the Melnik Castle. We toured the castle’s museum and tasted fresh grape juice from the Melnik Winery! We had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant and ended our trip by singing „Humpty Dumpty“ all together. What a wonderful day! –
Early Years trip to Pumpkin Farm
Our trip to the pumpkin farm was a beautiful, fall day! We were able to choose our own pumpkins, go on a hay ride, play in the garden, meet friendly farm animals, and eat delicious pumpkin soup!
Water Ski Day
On September 19th Riverside Students participated in another wonderful day of Waterskiing! Students were able to learn the basics of getting up on two skis, while others perfected their skills and practised dropping a ski and slalom skiing! A fun day had by all!
Fireworks Night
Around 400 students and parents enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display last Saturday evening. –
Harvest Bake Sale at the Primary School
Our PTA celebrated the harvest season with our annual Harvest Bake Sale. Our students and families enjoyed a range of baked goods and of course pumpkins. –
Riverside Colour Fun Run in Stromovka
Stromovka Park was a wave of blue, green, red and yellow on Friday 9th October. Riverside School enjoyed another successful Whole School sporting event, the Fun Run. This Autumn 8 students embarked on the second annual Croatia Diving Expedition and Scientific Research Trip. Students had about 8 days of working hard to achieve their PADI diving certificates and participate in both the basic open water diver, and the advanced course.
